Rotator Cuff Repair
A rotator cuff tear is a common source of shoulder pain and can cause weakness and disability, making daily activities painful and difficult. The rotator cuff stabilizes the ball-and-socket joint of the shoulder and allows for normal shoulder mechanics.
Biceps Tendon Repair
The tendons that attach the biceps muscle to the bones in the shoulder and in the elbow can tear either completely or partially. Biceps tendon tears can occur due to trauma or when lifting heavy objects, or overtime, a tendon may fray and eventually tear.
Cubital & Carpal Tunnel
Cubital Tunnel Syndrome is a condition that involves pressure or stretching of the ulnar nerve (also known as the “funny bone” nerve), which can cause numbness or tingling in the ring and small fingers, pain in the forearm, and/or weakness in the hand.
Shoulder Arthroscopy
Shoulder Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique that involves several small incisions into which a fiber-optic device (arthroscope) and tiny surgical instruments are inserted.
Meniscus Injuries
A meniscus tear is a common injury to the cartilage that stabilizes and cushions the knee joint and may be caused by turning the knee quickly or twisting it with the foot planted and the knee bent or by the aging process. You may experience pain, swelling, stiffness, cracking or popping and an inability to straighten the knee.
Cartilage Injuries
Once cartilage damage occurs, surgical techniques to stimulate the growth of new cartilage may be used as cartilage does not heal itself well. This procedure can relieve pain, allow better function and possibly delay or present the onset of arthritis.
Total Knee Replacement
Total knee replacement (knee arthroplasty) is a common orthopaedic procedure that is used to replace damaged or worn surfaces of the knee with an implant which relieves pain and increases mobility.
Tendonitis
Tendons are tough and flexible bands of tissue that connect muscle to bones. Tendonitis occurs when the tendons become inflamed, irritated or incur microscopic tears.
